Damon Hayes Couture is a designer and builder with Studio North based out of Calgary, Canada. The firm’s work has been included in a growing number of local and international publications such as Canadian Architect, archdaily, and Dwell. Damon is passionate about architecture that is contemporary, while being respectful of history, and forward-looking to the challenges and opportunities of the future. Closer to home, Damon has designed cabins for clients in the Rocky Mountains and is currently designing an addition to his family’s cabin for his parents to live in during their retirement.

  离网建筑让人得以做一个自我净化，分体式建筑、可拆卸式建筑、折叠滑动式建筑等等精巧的设计则体现了谦卑中的巧思与智慧。人与自然的相处是一个广博的课题，建筑则是这个课题中的重要应答，与高楼大厦相比，小木屋不仅是一种野性的回归，更是一种人性的释放。只有尽量减少对自然的影响，我们才能从自然中获得更多。

  崖山之败，正式宣告自宋太宗已降偃武修文、羁縻藩镇的太平兴国策略破产，亦即以君与士大夫共天下的文官体系，再也无法框限住藩镇军阀，宋体制彻底崩解。88年后明洪武帝恢复中华后，也放弃了宋体制，转而用独裁君主模式，统摄各派力量。明代变态的厂卫特务机关，不过是畸形君权的影武者罢了。

  即使崖山侥幸胜利，盖难恢复文天祥冀望的哪怕半壁江山。当然，宋廷仍可如400年后国姓爷收取台湾，以作基地，或据吕宋、安南、爪洼，让城别走，海外天子不失为一个选项。但是，可以想见，至多两三代人后，这支流亡政府很可能就在地同化了，只把杭州当汴州了，张世杰决战之意或虑至此也。

  本作画风粗粝爆裂，节奏自如，有电影感，余印象中首次涉及该主题，作者有心了。

    今天读完了大学里第二本书：《微积分的历程——从牛顿到勒贝格》。读这本书的因为殷洪才老师给我们上头几节微积分课时，花了非常大的力气来讲述微积分发展的历程，从实际需求到数学家逐步接力式地建立整个完善的微积分系统。我觉得这样一个发展的历程非常有意思，回头就上网找了一下相关的书籍，而在众多书籍中，这本书介绍称形象生动易于理解，门槛较低。而事实上，里面还是不可避免地运用了大量的公式定理来介绍各位数学家的工作，而当中有非常大的一部分对于尚未入门的我来说还是非常难于理解的，

    抛开这一方面来说，这本书让我建立了一种信仰：对知识的崇拜和对科学家的崇敬。从这本书当中，我很清楚地看到从牛顿，莱布尼兹到之后数十位伟大的数学家是如何一步一步找寻一种从未出现过的东西，而知识正是在他们的接力研究中得以建立。我们必须认识到知识不是凭空而来的，而是不止一位绝顶聪明的人，经过上百年上千年的研究才得以建立。就拿其中任何一位而言，我都不能与之比拟。在这种情况下，我不得不对知识更加奉若神明，尝试去理解更多的未知领域。即使我无法做出突破，我也应当看到人类的成就已经到了哪里。看完这本书，带给我的是一种对于知识的狂热。

    而在另一方面，书中大致上按照时间顺序和研究程度，列举了14位伟大的科学家。我得以从他们的研究中看到微积分初步建立时的不牢靠，逐渐走向危机，而柯西，魏尔斯特拉斯等数学家用他们绝顶的智慧挽危难于既倒，赋予了微积分准确性和严格性。再到现代数学天才沃尔泰拉，勒贝格等人将集合论与前人的精确性等完美结合后，创建微积分的历程才得以终止。而非常有趣的是，由于我个人智力非常有限，当我读到任何一位数学家们的成果时，我都会认为这就是研究的极限了。而当我翻过后一章去，却发现后一位数学家却远远地超过了前者，将问题变得更为精确而严格，以至于无懈可击。聪明的数学家们总能发现前者证明的漏洞，而更为聪明的数学家在问题出现后又完美地解决了。这不得不说是一个非常有趣的循环，而世界上伟大的成就也会从这样的过程中诞生。

    仔细思考，无论是数学，物理学还是经济学，研究者们总是会凭借绝顶的智慧和向问题进发的勇气，建立一条又一条定理公式，以至于让科学得以发展。而对于我来说，了解到这一点后，对于知识，对于学者，就愈发不敢显露出一丝一毫的不尊敬了。
