As Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Carl A.

Anderson is the CEO and chairman of the board of the world’s

largest Catholic fraternal service organization, with more than 1.7

million members. He is the author or co-author of four books – two

of which have been New York Times best-sellers. In the decade since

Anderson assumed the responsibilities of Supreme Knight in 2000,

the Knights of Columbus have achieved new heights in charitable

giving. During that time, the Knights have donated $1.4 billion

directly to charity, while volunteering 640 million hours to

charitable causes. A member of the bar of the District of Columbia,

he and his wife Dorian are the parents of five children.

  看了那么多四星五星的吹捧好评，忍不住要来吐槽，整本书就是名不副实，通篇都在铺垫提审如何厉害，如何声名远播，好像是能在审讯中发现嫌疑人的破绽，或者能让三进宫的老油条自己暴露证据。但其实书中所有涉及的案件提审，都是已经拿到确凿的证据的，嫌疑人还全都是初犯，根本禁不住一吓二诈，换任何其他一个警察来审讯，结果也是一样，作者为了自圆其说，借口说是子弹要用在最关键的地方，但是审讯大喷子那次，500万不明收入已经过了立案标准，足以压倒任何一个公职人员，审讯时又不提了。书中贯穿的整个经济案件从头到尾没反转没悬疑，平淡无奇，关键是书的前半部抓了一个区长，放着不写，书快结束时候审讯一次区长，掌握人家老婆儿子的确切证据，区长招出了最大的主谋，合着中间那么多都是白写。最无语的弄了个测谎仪到审讯中，败笔的设计，拉底的审讯对峙的精彩深度。
