  非常好的一本书，Good organizations have strong memories.

  杠杆收购如何产生，如何在公司资产结构和治理上给公司和所有者带来价值，是这本书的亮点。作者作为专长公司金融领域并撰写case study的HBS教授，对KKR一些成功或失败案例的分析，是相对其他资料不可多得之处。比故事性为主「门口的野蛮人」在专业上更驾轻就熟。

  书是好书，尤其是许多内容是少为人知的细节描述，而非一再泛泛的老调重弹。当然写书的两位教授也是有其立场的，书中是明显的站在KKR一边，用了人家的资料嘛。立场没有关系，关键是言之有物。亚马逊给了4星半，没有地方找到英文版。

  但翻译尚有待商榷，有许多一词多义的地方错译。许多单词翻译尚不规范，还有一些地方采取转译会更加通顺。句子结构不符合中文习惯，倒是容易看出原来的英文。

  看了印刷日期是2000年，主要原因可能是当时资料收集不如互联网更为发达的今天容易。如果能重译就更好了，应该能有不小的改进。
