  At some point, i stopped trying to figure out the connexions among characters. Only then did the magic begin.

  Sometimes i also have to convince myself to believe in...something. Something that will force one to take another step, to open one's eyes one more time in the morning. Even if that belief is slipping through my fingers faster and faster, day by day, like sand.

  There are so many missed possibilities...so many 'might have been', 'could have been'. Often i just can't help wondering—is there really anything that can say 'once i've truly lived'?

  Maybe there's not. Maybe all our 'talents'&'dreams' are just tales we tell ourselves. Maybe people can never truly get one another, to walk into one's heart&soul.

  But perhaps one day, every atom that once composed us will be re-captured, be inhaled&exhaled by a new creature, a new day, a new life.

  If we're lucky.

  Perhaps we got to see the day, all those colours drift away from our bodies, until our lines faded, just aloft, back to the simplest time.

  If we're lucky.

  We can live through all those seasons and turn into little protons of them, in the stones, in the air.

  Until then, at least we have 'now'.

  Isn't that magical?

  P.S. 2 pages of footprints remind me the ending dance of Aftersun. Both strike me like stars falling off the sky. So powerful. So meaningful.
