Miyax, or Julie as her pen pal Amy calls her, sets out alone to visit Amy in San Francisco, a world far away from Eskimo culture and the frozen land of Alaska. During her long and arduous journey, Miyax comes to appreciate the value of her Eskimo heritage, learns about herself, and wins the friednship of a pack of wolves. After learning the language of the wolves and slowly earning their trust, Julie becomes a member of the pack.   不是那种宏观叙事的编年史。美国人五十年前就做到了的事，我国到了今天，都还不是有很大的把握。如果只是上去一次，还说是有运气成分，可是美国人，能把人送上去月球那么多回。必须承认，美国人对人类文明的贡献，现在的任何一个国家都不能相提并论。必须承认，我国和美国在综合国力上的差距，比GDP的数值差的多的多。

• 第四版是最好的版本

  从高中开始就一直用第四版，目前看来，第6,7版越来越简略了，很多单词，用法都不再标明出来，相比四版，逊色很多，4版详细，透彻，非常适合英语学习者和研究者，6版和7版相对4版把里面很多短语例句和用法说明略去了，这个非常不好

  没看过这本，但是小时候在某本童话集里面看过。当时怎么也想不懂故事是什么意思，就是感觉很难过。

  倒是上半年，考研落榜，被迫紧急找工作，几番琐事措手不及。又忽然想到这个童话。

  那些怀有梦想的小动物们，在去往不来梅镇的路上相遇，忽然觉得途中的小木屋不错，于是知足地生活在小屋中。

  而我也忽然醒悟当初失落的缘由：毕竟是那么美的梦想，就快乐而无遗憾的放弃了。

  记不得故事具体的语气措辞，也不乏明辨作者的立场，赞赏或批评或中立。其实也不那么重要，关键是曾有追求的人自己会怎么想。

  小动物们安适而快乐地生活，而我却不知自己的不来梅镇处于何方，而我的生活又该在何处停留。。。
