  画得太好看了，构图都是略微倾斜的，很特别也很有冲击力。在它昔日萌生的地方，如今它倒下去，像200年前的它曾经历和获取过的那样，把最后的养分供给另一枚小小的翅果，以及其他的生物，一棵新树的生命之旅又开始了……想到了《一棵花旗松的生命之旅》里最后的话，“昔日位于底层的竞争对手，为它裹上寿衣。它正在腐烂。在大自然中，死亡和腐烂支撑着新生命。……（而人），他们将同样感受到万物与地球合一的奇特性。他们将带着这个感受回家，让自己终生受用。”

  《立冬》对待意外失去孩子的家庭，外人先会表达遗憾，然后躲避起来窃窃私语，仿佛会被这样的家庭的巨大不幸传染。还会观察失去孩子的人如何继续生活，并当成茶余饭后的话题。季节和时间抛弃了这样的家庭，他们敏感于他人的眼光，却又对四季更迭熟视无睹。能用孩子的赔偿金还房贷吗？用了，会不会是一种背叛？

  《卢赞成和埃文》通过埃文这条被遗弃、得了癌症的狗狗，残酷的间接证明了赞成的父亲—一位得了骨癌的卡车司机葬身火海却拿不到赔偿金的真实原因：他们都是死于自sha。患上癌症痛到想死的程度，却由于不能轻易的安乐死，只好用决绝的方式告别世界。当中学生听到赞成赚钱是为了给狗安乐死，骂赞成是个疯子，与奶奶说牧师以后不想见到奶奶，奶奶常祈祷的求主饶恕相呼应。牧师不想再见到奶奶的原因，也许是奶奶告解时说出了赞成爸爸真正的死因，和自己的赞同。
