  Adjective like nice/beautiful are opinion adjectives. They tell us somebody thinks of something or somebody.

  Opinion adjectives usually go before fact adjectives.

  Often we use quite with a positive idea and rather with a negative idea:

  She's quite intelligent but rather lazy.

  When we use rather with positive word, it means'unusually' or 'surprisingly'.

  1)设定主题

  首先要让你演讲的主题清晰而且始终如一，你需要给出一个能够指明整个演讲方向的标题，以给你的听众一个继续听下去的理由。如果你是一个销售经理，要介绍一个销售管理软件，你可以这么开场：早上好，谢谢大家。我知道大家对此都很兴奋，因为今天我将提供一个方法让大家更容易的完成业绩。

  2)提供大纲

  乔布斯总是会给听众提供演讲的大纲，然后用明确的过渡来开始和结束每一个部分，这可以使听众更容易跟随你的思路。

  3)展示激情

  在演讲中，乔布斯经常使用 extraordinary, amazing, cool, incredible, unbelievable, awesome 这些词汇，他在演讲中非常有激情。听众们都喜欢能让人“哇！”，而不是乏味的让人想睡的演讲。你的听众乐于看到你对你的公司、产品和服务充满激情，如果你都没有兴趣，他们更不会有兴趣。

  4)销售体验

  乔布斯不是在销售硬件，而是在销售一种体验。如果你要提供数据，要让这些数据有意义，使用比喻和比拟的方法联系上你的听众。比如你要介绍一个 12GB 的记忆卡，12GB 这个数字对大多数人来说是没有意义的，所以我们可以这么说，这个记忆卡可以装进去月球的往返旅行途中要听的所有音乐。

  5)视觉化

  很多演讲者使用大量的数据、文字和图表，乔布斯则反其道而行之。他很少用文字，只用一两张图片。能够激励人的演讲大量使用视觉化。如果你想让你的演讲出众，你要像表演一样有起承转合，使用视频片段、现场演示以及邀请嘉宾。

  6)花时间排练

  当然这都需要排练、排练、再排练，才能使得一切都同步协调起来。乔布斯都需要反复地排练，你也一样。

  7)还有一点

  在很多演讲的最后，乔布斯都会说“还有一点”。他会再介绍一个产品或者功能，或者有时候只是一个乐队演出。这不仅让人更加兴奋，也让听众觉得物超所值。

  此外，在演讲的过程中也有几点可以向乔布斯学习。

  1)保持眼神交流

  你要做的第一件事就是保持和听众的眼神交流。在98%的时间里，乔布斯都在与特定的人群有着很好的眼神交流，而不是对着所天花板说话。为什么乔布斯能够做到这一点是有原因的。第一个原因就是在乔布斯的幻灯片上很少有文字，他的大多数的幻灯片都是由图像和照片组成的，所以他不用像大部分演讲者一样回过头去读屏幕上的字，因为他的幻灯片上根本就没有字。第二个秘诀就是，他会花很长的时间来进行排练，他对演讲的每一个部分都烂熟于心，所以他才能够和听众进行眼神交流。

  2)开放的姿势

  开放的姿势意味着在你和听众之间没有阻隔。比如双手抱在胸前就不是一种开放的姿势，乔布斯在演讲的时候从来不会有这个姿势。他从来不会把双手插在裤子口袋里，也不会站在演讲台的后面，而是使用无线麦克风在舞台上走动。他这么做是为了避免他与听众之间的任何障碍，这就叫做开放的姿势。

  3)有效的手势

  像乔布斯一样演讲的第三个技巧是使用有效的手势。乔布斯在讲每一句话时几乎都会有手势，比如他会用手势来辅助说明产品的数量有多么的大，或者最新的芯片有多么的小。但是他的手势不是那种正式的、刻板的、经过排练的手势，而是看上去非常自然的。
